Arbor Rose Memory Care Homes partnership with FCS

Arbor Rose Memory Care Homes and EIU FCS  are partnering to allow students to work with dementia and Alzheimer’s patients and their families. The newly constructed home will house 8-10 residents and will provide the opportunity for FCS faculty members to weave research projects and course curriculum within all aspects of the facility. Each program area from Family Consumer Sciences as well as other areas of study at Eastern will benefit from this collaboration. A groundbreaking ceremony for a new activity center was held on May 2, 2016.
