Frank Research Featured

Jacqueline Frank’s research was featured on page 9 in a special pull-out section for the Journal Gazette/Times Courier newspaper. Her research titled Aging in Prison examines long-term prisoners’ thoughts on release and re-entry into society. Congratulations to Jackie on this honor!

Crystal Duncan-Lane

Congratulations. Crystal Duncan-Lane who has been awarded $4,000 for the Kappa Omicron Nu Ruth E. Hawthorne Research Grant and the National Alumni Chapter Award for her research program, “Tracing the Pink Ribbon: Investigating Family Resilience in Women with a History of Breast Cancer.” Crystal is an assistant professor in the School of Family and Consumer Sciences and completed her doctoral work at Virginia Tech. Her goal is to contribute to knowledge surrounding family resilience and how it might be used by mental health clinicians and health care providers to better serve the breast cancer population.

SFCS students Laura Lucas and Dana Tell accepted one-year terms (2012-2013) as board members of ICEA and faculty member Axton Betz accepted a second one-year term (2012-2013) as President.
